Io l'ho provato e il nuovo browser sembra il fratello minore di chrome (o maggiore) perché molte impostazioni e comandi sono sempre li, dove li trovavi su chrome (anche perché è sviluppato su base chromium, il motore di chrome) Ottima velocità però bisogna testarlo quindi prima di dare un giudizio definitivo direi di aspettare qualche mese.... lasciate un commento per dirmi cosa ne pensate! Nel mondo dei browser derivati da Chrome (dal motore Chromium) c'è sicuramente questo VIVALDI che ha suscitato la mia curiosità e la mia voglia di provare un browser nuovo forte di quanto gira per la rete. L'ho provato un pò poco ma sicuramente è un valido concorrente di chrome... forse non di BRAVE in fatto di velocità (che io ancora preferisco). La navigazione a schede poi è veramente una gran cosa, veloce e migliora il flusso di lavoro senza contare che si può integrare con un client di posta e un calendario. Il browser è diventato ormai un pezzo di software fondamentale, in assoluto il più usato sui computer desktop e notebook. Al momento Google Chrome la fa da padrone: ha circa il 60% del market share globale, fondamentalmente perché è già preinstallato sui cellulari Android, che sono quelli più diffusi. Ma non è l’unico: esistono delle ottime alternative. Oggi ti propongo una recensione di Microsoft Edge, il successore di Internet Explorer. Sono nato nel 1982, il primo PC che ho posseduto non aveva Windows. Peraltro internet in Italia non era per nulla diffusa. Negli anni ’90 ho cominciato ad utilizzare Windows 95, e ho avuto sempre un’impressione negativa sul software della Microsoft. Tanto per fare qualche esempio: Windows Media Player (il lettore audio incluso in Windows) ci mettava diversi minuti solo per avviarsi (ma per fortuna c’era Winamp). Microsoft Internet Explorer (il browser incluso in Windows) era veramente una schifezza: visualizzava male i siti e si piantava spesso. Non l’ho mai usato: lo aprivo solo per scaricare ed installare Mozilla Firefox. Edge è il successore di Internet Explorer. Microsoft lo ha rinominato e ha cambiato l’icona proprio per lavare via l’impressione di bassa qualità. In questa breve recensione di Microsoft Edge ho voluto essere il più obiettivo possibile analizzando diversi aspetti. Ora te li riassumo. Desing: Edge è gradevole. I tasti sono ben piazzati e facilmente accessibili Prestazioni: Edge è veloce quanto Chrome ma consuma molta meno memoria RAM Funzionalità: Edge ha il gestore password, i segnalibri e tutte le funzionalità “classiche” dei browser. Inoltre offre la possibilità di raggruppare le pagine in “collezioni”, funzione utile se, ad esempio, stai svolgendo una ricerca Sincronizzazione: qui Edge pecca. Le funzionalità non sono ancora complete Privacy: Edge ha molti più controlli di privacy e molto più semplificati. D’altronte Microsoft non guadagna dall’analisi aggressiva dei tuoi dati personali, al contrario di Google Conclusione: invece di scaricare subito Chrome o Firefox, dai una possibilità a questo browser: ti stupirà. With the release of Windows 11 just around the corner, many users are wondering how to set their default browser. This can be a little daunting, but with our handy guide, you'll be able to do it in no time! To set your default browser in Windows 11, first open up the Settings app. Then, scroll down and click on "Default apps." On the right-hand side of the window, you'll see a list of all of the apps installed on your computer. Scroll down until you find your web browser, then click on it. If your web browser is already set as the default app, you'll see a checkmark next to it. If not, click on "Set as default" to make it the default app. You can also choose which web browser you want to open when you click on links in other apps. To do this, scroll down to "Default app for this type of link." Underneath this heading, you'll see a list of all of the types of links that your computer can open. Click on the type of link that you want to change, then select your web browser from the list. Click "OK" when you're done to save your changes.
